BPM Team

	Teddy Coates, BPM President. Member since 1999 The BPM President performs all duties incident to the office of a corporation and such other duties as may from time to time to be assigned to him by the Board of Directors. The President shall serve as an ex‑officio member of all standing and ad hoc committees.
	Rod Carter, BPM Vice-President. Member since 1996 The BPM Vice President performs such duties that may be delegated or assigned to him by the President or the Body.
	Ricky Williams, Comptroller. The Comptroller is responsible for the collection and reconciliation of all bank statements on a monthly basis. He issues continuing reports on the fiscal status of the organization each month and is responsible for the maintenance of these records. He serves as the comptroller of the organization’s funds and issues periodic income and expense statements (ex. QuickBooks) in accordance with acceptance standards. He provides all documentation in a timely manner for the preparation of BPM taxes.
	Kenneth Morris, Treasurer. Member since 1999 The Treasurer is responsible for recording, depositing and issuing receipts for all monies collected. He receives all receipt payable invoices and issues two-signature checks, requiring either the President's or Vice President's signature for payment of outstanding BPM debts. He maintains accurate records of duplicate checks and receipts issued, and provides them to the Comptroller on a monthly basis.
	O'Neill McDaniels, Secretary. The Secretary is responsible for recording the minutes and for all communications within and without the organization. He serves as the custodian of written reports, records, and correspondence.
	Luis Navarro, Chairman, Communications. Member since 2007. This committee assists with all levels of BPM communication. This committee primarily supports the organization in the development and implementation of marketing and advertising strategies, promotional activities, development of organizational printed materials, media coordination and placement, and the organization's website maintenance. This committee maintains informational data of persons and supporters of BPM who desire to receive either/or BPM E-News, Event Invitations, and BPM Newsletter. This committee coordinates with the Secretary in maintaining documentation for historical purposes. This committee is responsible for ensuring that all BPM major events are photographed. The pictures will be maintained for historical purposes and placed on the BPM website, Newsletter, and E-news, as appropriate.
	Will Hanna II, Chairman, Community Relations. This committee overseas the planning and execution of all BPM community and political awareness initiatives. Such initiatives include annual meetings with Baltimore's Mayor, City Council, the Maryland Black Caucus and other key political entities. This committee spearheads BPM efforts in building alliances and having receptions with Baltimore's community associations and neighborhood leaders.
	William Garrett, Chairman, Health & Family Matters. This committee coordinates support groups as warranted for the membership. This group also helps provide referalls to appropriate medical services for both membership and mentees as needed. This committee develops programs and discuss topics that highlight the importance of all major and pressing health matter that the membership,mentees and the African American community at large should should be made aware of. This committee also informs the membership of members, mentees, and our key partners and supporters, anniversaries, birthdays, baby arrivals, etc.
	Stephen Trye, Chairman, Membership. Member since 2010. This committee is responsible for managing the recruitment and recordkeeping for BPM's membership. This committee creates, promote and plan strategies that support recruiting efforts in attracting quality new members. This committee helps develop, communicate, and monitor criteria for active membership participation. This committee is responsible for following up, in a professional and timely manner, with guests or persons that have expressed an interest in joining BPM. Finally, this committee is responsible for new members receiving welcoming information along with a copy of BPM by-laws.
	Floyd Wright, Chairman, Nominations. Member since 1999 This committee is responsible for coordinating election process and updating BPM's by-laws. In addition, this committee coordinates the selection of the BPM Man of the Year recipient and the BPM Scholarship Award Winners. This committee also serves as sergeant-at-arms during BPM meetings and events.
	Rod Carter, Chairman, Scholarships. Member since 1996 This committee manages the criteria setting, evaluation, and award distribution process for BPM scholarship awards. In addition this committee is responsible for monitoring and reporting the progress on scholarship recipients to the BPM General Body, and also mentoring the scholarship recipients throughout their college years via internships and other private scholarships.
