Our social agenda is the core of the organization’s existence. BPM members serve as mentors and role models for young African-American men, 8th grade and above, primarily in and around the Baltimore metro region. Many of our members are also active in other mentoring programs, speaking engagements across the state, are active on non-profit boards and other grass roots efforts aimed at helping to improve the African-American community. We strive to positively impact our schools and the community at large, and to instill a sense of pride in our mentees to help them to be prepared to take advantage of life’s opportunities.

Our economic agenda is centered on education and support of entrepreneurial ventures, and economic development within the African-American community. Instilling a sense of ownership within the community is paramount in this agenda.
